Georgetown Book Club's October selection
This October, the Georgetown Book Club celebrates DC Reads with a discussion of this year's selection, All Aunt Hagar’s Children by Edward P. Jones.
A Korean War veteran investigating a murder, a woman mysteriously prone to surviving disasters, and a young couple who find an abandoned baby are just a few of the characters whose stories are explored in the Pulitzer Prize-winning author’s 2006 short story collection, set entirely in 20th century Washington DC.
Join the Georgetown Book Club as we discuss All Aunt Hagar’s Children on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. Copies are currently available at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library, and everyone is welcome!
Questions? Email julia.strusienski@dc.gov or call the library at 202-727-0232.
