Warrior Canine Connection Dog Drops in for a Visit
Check out books on how dogs help people everyday .
Bunce, a Warrior Canine Connection (WCC) dog-in-training, checked out the children's Halloween books here at the Tenley-Friendship Library last week. Bunce’s WCC trainer, Andrea McCarren, a reporter for WUSA9 News, has been caring for and training Bunce since he was a puppy. She looks forward to the day when Bunce is ready to help a combat veteran. Warrior Canine Connection enlists service members and veterans in the training of service dogs and matches veterans suffering from combat stress with these highly-trained therapy dogs that provide years of mobility and social support. You can find out more about Bunce here.
