International Games Day is a chance to celebrate games, libraries, and the communities that both help to create and sustain with other library-lovers around the world. On Saturday, November 21, people all over the planet will join together to celebrate the mutually-reinforcing power of play and learning.

Shaw Library will have the following games available for all ages:

Pandemic
Forbidden Island
Apples to Apples
Hoot Owl Hoot
Clue
Balderdash
Scrabble
Bananagrams
Connect 4
Battleship
Life
Cranium
Candyland
AND MANY MORE!

Open play will take place from 1pm-5pm on the first floor.

We will also have a Magic: The Gathering card trading and open play event from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in Conference Room 1. Bring your extra cards for trade and bring your decks to play!

Now in its 7th year, International Games Day at your library hits a new landmark. We have already visited every settled continent on Earth! That's the power of play.
