Programs for the "Mature and Motivated"

Films, fitness & learning for the fabulous at 50+!

Reminder to all mature and motivated persons who are fabulous at 50+ years old: Save these dates and join us at Petworth Neighborhood Library each month for free films, fitness and learning!

"Petworth Pacers": Outdoor walking fitness meets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 4:00pm (December 2nd & 16th). Please bring your own water bottle, wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire & gym shoes--Indoor workouts planned for cold/inclement weather!

"PC Basics":Beginner level computer class meets every Monday at 10am.

"Yoga at Your Library": Meets every Saturday at 11am. (Yoga mats provided)

"Brain Games, Chat & Chew": Herbal tea, cookies and a variety of mental exercises to keep your brain in tip-top condition! Saturday, December 5th at 3pm.

"Retro Film Matinee": Meets every 3rd Friday. Showing "Miracle on 34th Street" on December 18th at 10:30am.

For more information about positive aging and "wellderly" living, check out these books! Library cardholders can click a book title to read more about it, then place it on hold at the library branch of choice. An email will be sent when the book is available for pick up.
