Author Talk - Professor Eric Dregni

Discussing his book "Never Trust a Thin Cook..."

Dean of the Italian Concordia Language Village and Assistant Professor of English and  journalism at Concordia University, Eric Dregni  is the author of sixteen books.  Professor Dregni will talk about some of  his books including the popular Never Trust a Thin Cook and other Lessons from Italy’s Culinary Capitol.

Searching to live in a place that has the best food in the world, Eric Dregni lands in Modena, a small town in Italy, "the birthplace of balsamic vinegar, Ferrari, and Luciano Pavarotti."

What begins as a gastronomical quest soon  becomes a revealing, authentic portrait of how Italians live and a hilarious demonstration of how American and Italian cultures differ."It is a classic American abroad tale, brimming with adventures... and awkward social moments...and very good food."
