How does one find love in 2016?  Do you go to bars?  Do you use dating sites?  These list of books talk about dating and finding love and not only finding love, but how to keep the flame burning in a relationship. 

Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari takes the reader into how dating and relationships have evolved over the past 50 years.  The author discusses, in humorous fashion, how individuals use to meet and communicate with one another before smartphones, dating sites and the like.  Fast-forward to the 21st century, our communication with loved ones is almost a continuous cycle with the advancements in technology. Mr. Ansari enlists the help of professionals to help him in his quest to learn more about Modern Romance.  Mr. Ansari travels the glove to talk with individuals in different cultures with different attitudes towards dating.  Mr. Ansari extracts a lot of information from his gatherings and showcases them in very efficient and easy to read graphs throughout the book.  Though at times the read can be a little techy, overall, the author finds the right balance of analytical evidence coupled with light hearted humor.

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey takes the reader into the mindset of what some men think when dealing with relationships.  Mr. Harvey mixes a good blend of humor and straightforwardness for the reader to comprehend the message he is trying to convey.  This book title was such a hit, a movie was created out of it.  We have the DVD in our collection as well if you would like to check it out. 

People Tools for Love and Relationships by Alan C. Fox offers the reader into a glimpse of his own struggles with marriage and relationships.  In addition, Mr. Fox provides the reader with anecdotal information to use in relationships.  This books shows you how to find the right person, and more importantly, teaches you how to become the right person in your own right.  How can you find the right person if you are still a little confused on what it is you truly want in a relationship?  This book will help guide you through.   

Home Again: Stories of Restored Relationships by Wanda B. Campbell offers the reader ideas on how to fix relationships that may have gone astray because of various reasons.  Ms. Campbell offers various stories that focus around family, friends and self.  

Write Your Own Fairy Tale: the New Rules for Dating, Relationships and Finding Love on Your Terms by Siggy Flicker helps the reader define what it is they should be looking for in a relationship.  Sure, he's right, but is he right for you?  Siggy helps the reader to answer this question and many more like it.
