March 20: Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiavarini
Do you enjoy reading about hometown Washington, D.C.? Cleveland Park Library hosts a local history book discussion series!
For March, we will be reading Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverini. During the Civil War, Elizabeth Hobbs Keckley dressed the society women of Washington. First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln was among her clients, and the two women were friends for many years.
We will meet in the first floor meeting room at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 20.

This event coincides with the Library's celebration of Women's History Month.
