Tenleytown Mural

Tenley-Friendship Library

Tenleytown Mural

Have you seen the new Tenleytown mural? It’s on the northeast corner of Grant Road at Wisconsin Ave., NW on the wall of the oldest original building in Tenleytown. Take a look at the representations of area landmarks, and then come over to the library to learn more about the second-oldest village in Washington.

The Tenley-Friendship Library houses the Tenleytown Historical Society collection. We have a collection of books and other materials about the neighborhood, including free Tenleytown Heritage Trail brochures in English and Spanish. Whether you’ve lived here for a lifetime or have just moved here, you will learn something new. Ask at the 2nd floor information desk for assistance.

Here’s a link to pictures of the mural by the artist himself, Jarrett Ferrier: https://www.popville.com/2017/09/tenleytown-mural-by-jarrett-ferrier/
