Music and Movement

Next date: Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, 11:30 a.m. (see all dates)

Hey, Music and Movement fans. Can you believe it's been a year already? Thanks for your loyal support.

To show our appreciation and gratitude, starting Nov. 29, we will be offering not one but two Music and Movement programs at 10 and 11:30 a.m. So, little dudes and dudettes, take out your boogie-woogie-oogie shoes and come join us for a stomping good time.

Music and Movement is a great way to introduce your child to language skills in a positive and fun environment. This 20-to-30-minute program is full of books, songs, rhymes and finger plays for children ages 2 to 5. Children and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the books and songs and to actively participate. Children should be able to follow one-and-two-step directions in order to fully participate in this program. See you there for the fun, fun, fun!

Space is limited; registration is required for this program starting on Feb. 28, 2018, going forward.

Online registration opens at 9:30 a.m. the day before the program and closes at 8 a.m. the day of the program.

If you are unable to register online, call 202-698-0183 or visit the Children’s Desk at the library.
Have a group larger than 12 (counting children and adults)? Please call ahead to make special arrangements.

Program takes place on the lower level.
