One Year: 1968, An American Odyssey Book Club

Join staff from the National Portrait Gallery (NPG) and the DC Public Library for a monthly discussion of portraits and prose commemorating the 50th anniversary of 1968. Each month, an NPG staff member will lead a tour of the exhibit One Year: 1968, An American Odyssey. Following the tour, a DCPL librarian will lead a discussion of a featured book related to the portraits, Washington, D.C., and 1968. 

On June 19 we will discuss Stokely: A Life by Peniel E. Joseph.

The library is hosting events throughout the year related to 1968, including the History Book Club at Northeast Library and Saving Family History Personal Archiving Workshops.
