Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 7:30 p.m.

The Rainbow History Project is proud to host this public panel to talk about women’s leadership and lesbian AIDS activism in Washington, D.C. Panelists will share stories of their experiences of how the AIDS crisis built bridges between different segments of the city beginning in the 1980s, especially between gay men and lesbian women. They will offer their perspective of how women’s leadership during the epidemic shaped the politics and culture of the ascending LGBT rights movement in the District.

With panelists Papaya Mann, Colevia Carter and Patricia Nalls; moderated by Kate Ruane.
