NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment - Practice Session

The NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment and Certificate are respected workforce credentials that affirm your competency in basics digital literacy skills. This 1.5-hour practice session will allow you to prepare for the proctored sessions of the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment, during which you can earn a NDLA Certificate. However, certificates are not awarded during this practice session. 

Seats are limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive 30 minutes early to sign in for a seat at one of the 12 workstations.

Assess your NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment (NDLA) Certificate in one or more of the following areas of basic digital literacy: 
 
  • Computer Basics
  • Internet
  • Windows
  • Mac OS X
  • Email
  • MS Word
  • Social Media
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Info Literacy
Note:
  • You may take and retake as many of the above assessments as the two-hour time frame will permit.
  • You may print out your assessment results, which will reveal both your basic digital literacy strengths and the basic digital literacy skills in which you need further development. 
  • Though you may receive a passing score of 85 percent or better during this practice session, the NDLA Certificate will not be awarded at this time. The certificate can only be received with a passing score during a proctored session of the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment.
