Internet Job Seeking 101

In this 2-hour class, you will learn to use online job boards and job search engines to find the right job for you. Discover where you can build your résumé online. Learn the steps to an effective job search and the organizational tools to help you stay on top of your job-seeking process. Seats are limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Required Skills: The ability to read and comprehend English well. The ability to execute the skills learned in PC Basics, Web I Basics and Email Basics.

Class Objectives:
  • Learn how to search, save alerts and set up an account on Internet job boards.
  • Pick up tips on evaluating and choosing the job board that is right for you.
  • Explore why job boards are just one avenue to finding the right job.
