The History of Our Urban Forest

Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, 6 p.m.

Come join us at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library for an engaging and educational look at the trees that you see every day when you're walking the streets of Washington, D.C. Maddy McPhee, community education coordinator for Casey Trees, will be delivering great information on the history of the urban forest in our neighborhoods, as well as talking about some tree biology and some tips for identifying the trees that you might see out and about. We will also have a display of some related materials available for checkout. This event is free and open to the public, and will run from 6 until 7:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
