African American Migration to Washington, D.C During the 19th and 20th Century

In honor of Black History Month, George Derek Musgrove, co-author of Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation’s Capital, will deliver a presentation on African American migration to Washington, D.C.

Dr. Musgrove is currently an Assistant Professor of history at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. 

This event will take place at the Juanita E.Thornton/Shepherd Park Library in the second floor meeting room at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. It is suitable for ages 13 and up.
