Page Turner Thursday Presents: Mayor For Life

In celebration of DC Public Library "A Right to the City" campaign.  The Anacostia Neighborhood Library will read Mayor For Life: The Incredible Story of Marion Barry, Jr.  written by Marion Barry, Jr. and Omar Tyree.  A blurb from the book jacket reads, "Marion Barry four-term mayor of Washington, D.C. and one of the most successful politicians in America, shares his spirited and courageous life story, being born a black boy in the cotton fields of Mississippi and then rising to the executive offices of one of the most powerful cities in the world."  We hope you can join us on March 28 at 7 p.m. to celebrate "A Right to the City."
