PC Basics for Seniors: Beginners

For Seniors and beginners who need to be introduced to the world of computers, this is the class for you. In this hour and a half class, you will overcome your fears and gain the skills that can get you familiar with the computer. 

Seats are limited to 10 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive 30 minutes early to sign up for a seat at one of the 10 workstations.

Required Skills: The ability to read and comprehend English well.

You will learn to:
  • Identify basic computer components and operating system features
  • Execute basic mouse techniques
  • Perform basic keyboard strokes and functions
  • Identify and navigate the features of the desktop
  • Open and exit software programs
  • Create and save a document to the desktop or to a flash drive
