East of the River Free Bike Repair Clinics

Last date: Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, 12 p.m. (see all dates)

Due to excessive heat, this Saturday's Free Bike Repair Clinic has been RESCHEDULED. The next Free Bike Repair Clinic will take place on Saturday, September 7 - see you then and stay cool this weekend!

Volunteers from Gearin' Up Bicycles and The Bike House will provide free bike repair clinics at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library on select Saturdays this summer from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Bike repair clinics are educational and designed to TEACH YOU how to repair and maintain your bike - bring your bike (limit of 1 adult bike or 2 children's bikes per customer) AND a willingness to learn, get your hands a little dirty and walk away with new, empowering skills. The Washington Area Bicycle Association, DC Safe Routes to School and the Metropolitan Police Department will be providing support, bike safety information and creative activities at each clinic.
Saturday June 22, 12 - 2 p.m.
Saturday Sept. 7, 12 - 2 p.m.
Saturday Sept. 28, 12 - 2 pm

These programs are made possible with support from DDOT Vision Zero, the DC Public Library Foundation, and the Friends of the Anacostia Neighborhood Library.
