Have you heard? The computer lab at Capitol View Library is open and ready for you to come in and learn something new or brush up on a few skill sets. Our computer lab guru, Mr. Phil is ready to help you explore all that the computer lab and DC Public Library have to offer. Our lab features 10 PCs as well as an instructor’s station and a large overhead monitor for group learning. Join in for a class to improve your typing skills at the Mavis Beacon Typing Clinic, get back to Word Basics, debug all of your tech troubles at Techy Thursdays, and get extra support on your job search during our Job & Career Drop-In One On One Clinic. Come and socialize with us as we dive into Google Galore, Smartphones 101 and Social Media 101.

Level up your skill set and/or job search with our special installment of the Microsoft Imagine Academy: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Exam programsCapitol View Library is offering free 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist Certification exams to people who first pass a Jasperactive™ Benchmark. Jasperactive will give you the opportunity to test your skills on Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
