  • Do you want to hear how a young man from Southeast D.C. used chess lessons to transform his life?
  • Are you a biography or D.C. history buff?
Join local chess enthusiasts and Chess Master Eugene Brown (“The Big Chair Chess Club”) for 3 days of special events for all ages. 

Join us for the first event on Friday, Sept. 13 for a screening of “Life of a King” (feature film, starring Cuba Gooding. Jr., about the life of Eugene Brown) at the Parklands-Turner Library.
