Are you looking to learn to code? Do you want to build something amazing? The Fab Test Lab has just the thing - we're starting our very own Girls Who Code club!

Girls Who Code is an organization founded by Reshma Saurani with the mission of closing the gender gap in technology. Since 2012 they have worked with schools, libraries and other public institutions to bring coding to girls in all 50 states and several U.S. territories.

Despite the name, this club isn't only for girls! This club is open to anyone ages 8-14. We'll meet on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. starting Jan. 29.

Space is limited due to the hands-on nature of the class, so you must register at bit.ly/labsclasses to reserve your spot.*

In order to sign up for this class, you are required to have completed a Fab Test Lab Safety Orientation. If you have not completed this orientation, your reservation will be canceled. Sign up for an orientation at the link above.

*If the class isn't showing up in the calendar at the link, registration is full or not yet available (the calendar opens 30 days in advance), but please check back for cancellations and future classes.

This class is a production of the Labs at DC Public Library. Click here for more information about the Labs and to sign up for updates about classes and services.
