Please join George Derek Musgrove, Associate Professor of History at the University of Maryland (Baltimore County) and co-author of Chocolate City:  A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation's Capital for a discussion of his new website Black Power in Washington, D.C. 1961-1998. Based on his research for Chocolate City, Musgrove explores the history of Black Power organizing in the nation's capital through geographical maps, historic photographs, and text.
