Writing Contest: Imagine what the library might look like in 125 years

Celebrate our 125 years of DC Public Libraries by participating in a writing contest at Northeast Library throughout the month of June. Open to all ages. Imagine what the library might be like in 125 more years. What sort of programs might be there? What would the buildings or furniture need to be like? What types of special technology might the library offer for the community?

Come to the library to pick up a template, or email your entry in to northeastlibrary@dc.gov, subject line: Writing Contest. You can also drop off your completed entry into a box near the checkout desk.

Winners will be selected from each age category: Kids, Teens, Adults, and contacted in July. The winners work will be posted on our website, and they will receive a special certificate, along with some VIP Library Swag!
