Google Sheets - Walk-In Access

Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, 2:30 p.m.

 In this 2-hour class, you will learn how Google Sheets allows you to create and edit spreadsheets online while collaborating with multiple users in real-time in the same spreadsheet environment. Google Sheets is compatible with Microsoft Excel and shares many of its formatting features.

Seats are limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis. Please arrive a half-hour early to sign in for a seat at one of the 12 workstations.

Required Skills: The ability to read and comprehend English well and the skills acquired in the PC Basics and Excel I Basics classes.

You will learn to:
  • Identify and navigate the basic features and elements of the Google Sheets window
  • Create a Google Sheet in Google Drive
  • Add a Google Sheet and rename, hide and delete it
  • Add and reply to comments in a Google Sheet and share your Google sheet
  • Enter Formula and perform the SUM function, the Min and Max functions, the Count function, and more
  • Insert a Chart, an image, and a link in Google Sheets
  • Use the Version History to view the various versions created by the edits made
  • Download a Google Sheet to Microsoft Excel and upload an Excel document to Google Sheets
