Coffee & Conversation West End Neighborhood Library

One of Washington's beautiful fall days was the setting another outdoor gathering of the West End Neighborhood Coffee & Conversation group. The passing of the great actor Angela Lansbury at age 96 started the conversation and her debut in the celebrated film Gaslight, and how that film introduced the term to the American vocabulary. The discussion led to how gaslighting is in use today in relation to U.S. politics. From there, the group discussion led to annual High Heel Race on 17th St NW.  - A field trip to the races was proposed but never materialized. Maybe next year!
