National Gaming Day at Northeast Library

Come join us for the 2nd annual celebration of National Gaming @ Northeast Library.  A tentative schedule of events is listed below: 12:00 – 1:00 PM – Trading Card Games – Tutorials on the Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic card games and a tournament (pending enough participants) 1:00 – 2:00 PM - Role-Playing Games – Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Crawl 2:00 – 3:00 PM – Board Games – Pictureka!, Monopoly, Scrabble, Upwords, Sorry and others

Friends of Northeast Library Hold Annual Event

The Friends of Northeast Library have announced their upcoming used book sale, which will take place on Saturday November 7th, 2009.  The sale will be open at 9:30 to FONEL Sustaining Members contributing $25 or more, and be open to the general public from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM.  Please contact the library at (202) 698-3320 if you need more information.
