Half of a Yellow SunParklands-Turner Neighborhood Library Black Literature Book Club is meeting on Tuesday, April 30 at 2 p.m. to discuss Chimamanda Adichie's novel, Half of a Yellow Sun [5]. The Los Angeles Times callsĀ it "an extraordinary book." This historical novel is about love, culture, war, families, and loyalty.

New members are invited to join the book club. You can join us at any time. The book club focuses on novels authored by African-Americans, Caribbeans and Africans living in different countries around the globe.
