The summer may be winding down, but the Anacostia Neighborhood Library "Summer Sizzlers" program continues to heat up!Every weekday after our free summer meals, children are invited to join us for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) related projects [5]. In collaboration with groups such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and DC Central Kitchen, our students have planted vegetables, learned about the scientific method, created a character development art project, and even made their own ice cream!

 

We invite you to join us every weekday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to be a part of our Summer Sizzlers program!
