RACE: Talc and Ash with Holly Bass 360

Sunday, July 10, 2016, 3 p.m.

Holly Bass of Black Space returns to DC Public Library with RACE: Talc and Ash.

RACE: Talc & Ash is a movement duet piece featuring Holly Bass and Christopher K. Morgan about gentrification, race and class in Washington, DC. The performance is set up like a sporting event, complete with a pre-show tailgate party and live commentators. Voices from the community are woven into the soundtrack. The performance will highlight the divide between old and new DC.

This event is sponsored by DC Public Library Foundation via Engaging Dance Audiences
