Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Bring a stuffed animal friend to the library to hear a story & create your own photo album. Your stuffed animal will spend the night at the library, & when you come to pick your pal up, your personalized photo album will be filled with photos of all the sleepover adventures they had! Children of all ages & families are welcome; pajamas are encouraged but not required!

Early Literacy Craft Time

Bring story time home by creating your own easy-to-make flannel shapes and finger puppets. Children and their caregivers will learn a new rhyme or finger play together. Supplies will be provided to create shapes or puppets to go along with the rhyme. Books, music and an interactive flannel board will keep children busy while their grownups get crafty. For children 0-5 and their caregivers.

An evening story time where pajamas are encouraged but not required. These 30-40 minute evening programs are designed to delight children of all ages. Filled with stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination, these programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. Questions? Preschool Story Time

Preschool Story Time

Share the fun of reading with your children ages 3-5 years. Children and their caregivers, will explore stories and activities to encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. This 30 minute program is designed to promote language and listening skills, expand children’s imaginations and arouse their curiosity about the world around them.  Currently, no tickets are required. Baby and Toddler Story Time

These 20-30 minute story times are full of books, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for children birth to two years old. Our Baby and Toddler Story Time is a great way to introduce your child to language skills in a positive and fun environment. With slightly more activity and movement than our lap times, children and their grownups are encouraged engage with the books and songs and to actively participate in the program.   Questions? Shakespeare for the Young

Shakespeare for the Young is a company of puppeteers and designers dedicated to bringing the Bard's stories and poetry to young audiences through the medium of puppets. They will be performing a show based on the fairy story from William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.  The goal of the show is to provide children with a fun, interactive cultural experience that will encourage language growth, risk-taking, creativity, and empathy for others.
