I am Invited to a Party!

"School's Out for the Summer" Party!

Out with school books, in with cool books!  Blow off steam on the last day of school with zany games, a newspaper building challenge, and scrumptious snacks. And don't forget to pick out some cool summer reads and register to earn summer reading prizes before you leave! This event is intended for children ages 5 and up and planned with the assistance of the Shepherd Park Library Teen Advisory Board.
TieDye Shirts

Tie Dye Outside!

Use tie-dye to create your own unique color combinations and designs! Plain white t-shirts will be provided but you can update your own t-shirts. This event will take place in the garden next to the library. In case of rain, meet inside the library for screenprinting!

Architecture at the Library

Come into the library and listen to architect Christopher Sullivan discuss how architects are "building a better world."  Christopher has ten years of experience in variety of architectural areas, including diplomatic facilities and historic preservation.  His talk will center on the Francis Gregory Library building and how it exemplifies the best that modern architecture has to offer.
