For the month of May, we have selected a provocative biography Street Poison: The biography of Iceberg Slim by Justin Gifford.  Literature professor Justin Gifford has been researching the life and work of Robert Beck for a decade culminating in Street Poison, a colorful and compassionate biography of one of the most complicated figures in twentieth-century literature.

For Children's fiction fans, 9 - 12 years old

Southeast Kids' Book Club meets the last Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m.! At each Kids Book Club meeting, we discuss the book, enjoy a fun theme activity, and enjoy snacks. Participants will also vote on the next book we'll read! New titles are typically introduced so participants can pick the perfect book to read at home.
