Ms. Yvonne Harris reading to our young library patrons

In-person Storytime!

The Parklands-Turner library was overjoyed this past Tuesday, March 22., to resume in-person programming, and to welcome our youngest customers back into our branch. The excitement to return to face-to-face programming was palpable, and we could not wait to let the good times keep rolling. To celebrate, the resident children's librarian, Ms. Yvonne Harris, hosted a Storytime with our local early childhood friends! There were countless opportunities to interact with our young patrons, from sing-alongs, to call and responses, and even wiggle breaks in between the book readings.

Being Thankful with Annie

What I love, and why

Welcome back to Annie’s blog. ‘Tis the season for a lot of things. Cold weather, wind and rain, and maybe even a few flakes if we’re lucky enough to get them. It’s the season for coughs and sneezes (which abound in the children’s room). It’s the season for snuggling up with thick books, thick blankets and thick socks.
