Mac Tutorial for PC-Based Users

Stop by Tuesday, March 6, or Tuesday, March 20, to participate in this tutorial that will cover: some basic differences between Mac and PC, the operating systems and program types, exploring the Mac, getting started, how to print, using accessory devices like thumb drives and headsets, exiting programs, setting up email, and a basic introduction to the DC Public Library home page and services.

Martin Luther King Jr. emerges as its most visible leader. Some demonstrations succeed; others fail. But the triumphant March on Washington, D.C., under King's leadership, shows a mounting national support for civil rights. President John F. Kennedy proposes the Civil Rights Act.
