Iona House Workshop: Caregiving Near and Far

Are you currently caring for an older relative, either locally or long distance? Is this a role you might need to take on in the future?  Deb Rubenstein, MSW, LICSW, a care manager and counselor at Iona Senior Services, will lead a workshop on the basics of caregiving, including legal and financial planning, how to find resources in the DC area or elsewhere, and how to handle the emotional and relationship challenges that come with caregiving.

Tired of the winter blahs? Add some sunshine to your life!Read the book, then see the movie. . . Monday, March 22, at 6:30 pm, we'll show the film, Under the Tuscan Sun, based on the novel of the same name by Frances Mayes. Be sure to stop by the interim and pick up a copy of the book!

A Gentle Reminder About Holds

Be sure to pick up your reserved materials 10 days after receiving notification that they are being held at the Interim. Because of space constraints, we must regretfully remove the hold and return items to the shelves if they haven't been picked up within 10 days. Please call us at 202.244.3212 to check on the status of a hold or to request an extension.

Preschool Story Time
