Strong Start DC Community Playgroup: 12-24 Months

The Strong Start DC Early Intervention Program Community Playgroups are monthly hour-long sessions led by early intervention professionals at locations across the city. Registration is required. Families will engage in family-centered, child interest-driven play and learn about early childhood development, developmental screenings and the Strong Start DC Early Intervention Program referral process. Each session includes songs, stories, sensory experiences, motor activities and more geared toward the targeted age group.

Join us for a relaxing and gentle yoga class for all levels of fitness and experience with yoga. Classes are limited to the first thirty (30) participants. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. and close promptly at 10:30 a.m.  Please bring your own yoga mat (other props such as straps and blocks are optional).  About the Instructors: Robin Glantz, Alexis Chen, and Alex-Marie McGuire, certified yoga teachers, bring free weekly yoga to our library.
