Family Yoga

Yoga Mondays

Join us for a relaxing and gentle yoga class for all levels of fitness and experience with yoga. Classes are limited to the first thirty (30) participants. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. and close promptly at 10:30 a.m.  Please bring your own yoga mat (other props such as straps and blocks are optional).  About the Instructors: Robin Glantz, Alexis Chen, and Alex-Marie McGuire, certified yoga teachers, bring free weekly yoga to our library.

A story time experience for our youngest library users and their caregivers. This story times introduces books, songs, rhymes, tickles and bounces developmentally appropriate for nonwalkers. Baby Lap Time is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere.

Get up and get moving at our Toddler Story Times! These 20-30 minute programs are full of books, songs and fun activities are designed to help develop your child’s language skills. Children ages 1-3 years and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the stories and activities and participate in the program along with the children. Tickets are required to attend this program. They are available at the Children’s Desk 60 minutes before the start of the story time on a first-come, first-served basis.

Move to the Music!

Adults of all ages are welcome to Move to the Music!  Kathy Gracenin, DR, will incorporate elements of  Tai Chi, Yoga,  Qi Gong and Dance to help the body and mind. Dancing a little each day improves strength, balance and alignment and improves the health of your brain. Dancing in your chair is also great!
