We invite you to join us for the Shepard Park Book Club which meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm. The title featured for the November 3rd, 2010 meeting is, Justice Older than the Law: The Life of Dovey Johnson Roundtree by Dovey Johnson Roundtree & Katie McCabe.
Our annual Halloween party will take place on Wednesday, October 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. We will have (somewhat) scary stories, activities, and giveaways. All ages may attend. Costumes are optional. Please call if you have any questions.
We are delighted to have Donatella Massoli singing Italian lullabies and folk songs as part of the embassy sponsored Euro Kids festival. There will also be Italian folktales for the very young. Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 11am. For ages 0-3.
Come play games, have cake, and recieve free giveaways to celebrate the children who reached their reading goals over the summer. Anyone who participated in summer reading may attend. Sept. 29th at 7pm in the activity room.

Come make your own flannel board and learn a new way of telling
stories. Commonly used by librarians and teachers, a flannel board
allows you to create visual story boards for your children's favorite
stories. Saturday, October 2nd at 1pm, Ages 2-7.
The Shepherd Park Afternoon Book Club will be reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett for their October 6, 2010 book club meeting in room A located on the second floor of the Shepherd Park Library. The meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm.
