#UncensoredDC Banned Book Scavenger Hunt

#UncensoredDC Banned Book Scavenger Hunt

Join DC Public Library for the Fifth Annual #UncensoredDC Banned Book Scavenger Hunt as we celebrate our theme of "Right to the City: Shaping and Reshaping the City."

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, hundreds of banned books will be hidden at various locations around the city. Locations include neighborhood libraries, coffee shops, eateries and other local businesses. Each selected title explores the realities of communities facing gentrification, and how activists mobilize to preserve their neighborhoods. Spot the hidden books by keeping an eye out for the unique and colorful book covers featuring custom artwork from local artist, Cory Bernat.

Here’s the deal on the hunt!
