To use the Fabrication Lab, participants must complete a Labs Participant Release Form (please bring an active library card and a valid government issued photo ID to your first visit after completing the form) and review the Safety Guidelines first.
Intro Classes
To use any machinery located in the Fabrication Lab, participants must first complete a Machine Intro class. Please see below for intro classes for the machine you are interested in using.
Fabrication Lab equipment may also require a brief orientation at the beginning of your first appointment.
3-D Printing
Learn how to use the Ultimaker 3-D Printer in an hour+ intro class. After the machine intro, you will be eligible to reserve time on the Fabrication Lab's 3-D printers. Please arrive promptly at the start time of the class to ensure participation.
Laser Cutter
Learn how to use of the Fabrication Lab's laser cutters. After the intro, you will be eligible to reserve time on one of the laser cutters. Please arrive promptly at the start time of the class to ensure participation. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will be turned away from the class. You must wear closed-toe shoes in the Fabrication Lab.
Cricut Reservation
You must provide materials for your project. Examples include vinyl, heat transfer vinyl and cardstock.
