World Book Night

World Book NightOn World Book Night, 25,000 passionate readers across America -- including some DC Public Library Staff -- will hand out books within their communities. The goal is to open up a new world to those who don’t regularly read and people who don’t normally have access to books.

Each volunteer will have 20 free copies of a popular book title to give away on World Book Night, Wednesday, April 23.

World Book Night provides the books to participating givers, including the DC Public Library.
