Southeast Library is holding its second annual Halloween contest! We want you to enter your best Halloween drawing, painting, or short story (under 500 words). Entries must be turned to by October 26 at the Information Desk with your name and contact information. Entries will be judged by the public from October 27 - 31. Winners will be contacted after voting to award prizes. This contest is for ages 5 to 19. Only one entry per person will be accepted (either one drawing or one short story). Teens, bring out your true colors on Mandala Mondays. Mandalas are colorful religious and spiritual designs representing the universe. Tibetan Buddhist monks would painstakingly create beautifully intricate mandalas using sand and paint.  We will provide the designs, colored pencils and fine-tipped markers so you can make your own work of art. Relax and refresh in the Teen space on the 2nd floor every other Monday, 4:30-5:30 p.m., beginning October 3.   Best for ages 13-19.
