StoryWalk®

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for families to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Walk around the perimeter of the library and take in the window displays associated with the featured StoryWalk® book. Other small activities like a craft or giveaway may accompany the StoryWalk®.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Take and Make Kits

Enjoy at-home craft time with a library take and make kit! Created and curated by library staff, kits are often seasonally inspired and range from paper bag puppets, to stained “glass” collages and so much more!

Interactive Displays

Throughout library buildings you’ll find book and seasonal displays for your viewing pleasure. You’ll also find some displays that need your input. Can you guess popular children's book characters from their silhouettes? Play giant boggle with your entire neighborhood!

Next time you’re at your neighborhood library, leave some time to enjoy the interactive displays!
