Studio Lab Express
The Labs at DC Public Library are located at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library which opens for limited services on Sept. 24. Learn more here.
The technology in the Digital Commons, Fab Lab and Studio Lab are made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Studio Lab Express offers DIY drop-in sessions, events and space to focus on exploring, learning and celebrating photography, videography, music and sound production -- from pre to post-production.
Digital Drop-Ins are Monday and Thursday from 1-5 p.m. at the Shepherd Park (Juanita E. Thornton) Neighborhood Library. Digital Drop-Ins and all Studio Lab Express reservations are only for audiovisual production. Please bring a storage solution (e.g., cloud storage, external hard drive, flash drive, SD card) with sufficient available capacity to save your work when attending a Digital Drop-In or Studio reservation appointment. To protect your privacy and work, you may not store personal items or content at the Studio Lab Express or in any Studio equipment.
Reservations (three consecutive hours per day) may be made, at least 48 hours in advanced online at bit.ly/labsclasses
