Institute of Museum and Library ServicesThe technology in the Fabrication Lab and Studio Lab are made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Studio Lab offers DIY drop-in sessions, events and space to focus on exploring, learning and celebrating photography, videography, music and sound production -- from pre to post-production.

Membership Process

1. Sign a Participant Release Form, required. If under 18, parental consent is required.

2. Review Safety Guidelines, required. All participants are expected to review and abide by the Safety Guidelines at all times when using the Labs. Participants are provided the Safety Guidelines upon checking in at the Labs Info Desk or may be requested from a Labs staff member at any time. To use a specific area of the Studio, you must complete a space orientation at the beginning of your first visit and whenever procedures change. Different areas include the following:

  • Audio Recording Studio
  • Band, Green Screen, Photography or Voice Practice Studio Session
  • Dance Studio
3. Make things! All Fabrication Lab classes, demos, and program require a Participant Release Form and completing a safety orientation.
 

Age Policy

The Fabrication Lab is designated for use by persons aged 13 and older.

Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Children under the age of 6 are prohibited from entering the space.

Parental consent is required for anyone under the age of 18.
