I have books due during the closure. What should I do?
You can return DC Public Library books at any of our 25 other locations. In addition, DC Public Library is extending the due date for items checked out at the West End library for an additional 7 days following the closure for your convenience.
I am waiting for a hold, can I still pick it up?
We encourage you to pick up your available holds at West End by Thursday, Sept. 21. Any holds that are in transit after Sept. 21 will be held and then made available for you when the location reopens.
I want to place a hold, what location should I select?
