DC Public Library’s Outreach + Inclusion Services department (OUT) embeds and expands library services beyond library walls, bringing resources, programming, and connection directly into communities. OUT works collaboratively with partners across the city to ensure equitable access, foster belonging, and meet residents where they are.

From story times to digital instruction, DC Public Library’s Outreach and Inclusion team connects DC residents to vibrant living and learning.

We often do this work aided by our Library on the GoGo outreach vehicles: our bookmobile truck and two book bikes. We would love to work with you to host library services beyond the library walls.

If you are requesting outreach to your school, contact your neighborhood library.
