STAR Books from Birth
The DC Public Library now provides a free book every month to children from birth to five years old. The "Books from Birth" program is free and is operated in conjunction with our STAR (Sing, Talk, and Read) campaign, which encourages parents and caregivers to take an active role in their child’s educational development by singing, talking, and reading with them daily. If you are interested in receiving free books for your child, you can register here.
