As a reminder that civic responsibility can begin at any age, the Anacostia Neighborhood library was proud to be a polling site for the 2012 Children's Election, open to citizens 17 and under! Movie Screening of Brooklyn Castle

Come to a FREE screening of the film Brooklyn Castle (PG) at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library!  We’ll be showing it on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.  Recommended for children and adults with an interest in chess, but all viewers will find this remarkable story compelling.

Monthly Dental Van

Bright Smiles for a Bright Future is a program offered at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Libraryand the Anacostia Neighborhood Library that provides dental van visits to the community.  Through a partnership with Smiles Center Dental Group, a dental van equipped with the latest technology will bring top-quality care to patients in a gentle, prompt and reliable manner.
