November's Selection Is "Push" by Sapphire

This month the Anacostia Weekly Book Club is reading the novel Push by Sapphire. Our weekly book club meets on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. We provide the books; you provide the lively discussion!September Book: The Naked Truth: Young, Beautiful, and (HIV) Positive by Marvelyn Brown and Courtney MartinBook Club pick for December: The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah Each time we meet, there will be discussion of the current book as well as suggestions for upcoming books and related activities.

Humpty Dumpty Story Time

Wednesday, November 18, 10 a.m.

Join Ms. Phillips at the library on Wednesday, November 18th at 10:00 AM for Humpty Dumpty Storytime. Children will help to retell this classic children's story using character puppets. This program is open to children ages 2-5 and their parents. Each participating child will receive a Humpty Dumpty coloring sheet to take home.
