Woodridge Interim Library welcomes back returning and new customers!
Local lifetime learners and book enthusiasts will now have a 4,200-square-foot space to check out new titles, full seasons of popular series and movie DVDs, music CDs, books on disc and novels and nonfiction of all kinds.
The Woodridge Neighborhood Library is closed as of December 22, 2013 for its new construction project to begin. 12/22 to 1/12 – closed for moving and set up of services at the interim location. Woodridge customer holds will be available at the Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Library while closed. On Monday, January 13th -- The Woodridge Interim Library at 1790 Douglas St. NE opens for service. This is a freestanding 4,200 square foot modular facility, similar to the ones we have had during the building projects at Petworth and Francis A.

Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Woodridge Public Library, after-school programming will take place every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5 p.m. The activities below will represent a list of menu options for children and teens to select from.
Due to delays with site preparation, the Woodridge Interim Library opening, originally scheduled for Nov. 12, is postponed. A new date has not yet been determined.The Woodridge Library, scheduled to close Oct. 27, will remain open. We will let you know when new dates are finalized.
